Already qualified as an Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) and looking to progress into a Lead IQA role?

Our IQA to Lead IQA Upgrade is designed for experienced IQAs who already hold a relevant Level 4 IQA qualification and want to develop their skills in leading and managing internal quality assurance.

Rather than repeating your existing IQA qualification, this focused upgrade allows eligible learners to complete the additional unit required to develop their Lead IQA knowledge and skills.

Course Duration

Additional unit – duration dependent on individual experience, existing qualifications and evidence.

Delivery

Delivered through a combination of tutor support, independent study, practical IQA activities and assessment of existing workplace practice.

Learners will be supported to build evidence against the requirements of the additional unit and demonstrate their ability to lead and maintain effective quality assurance processes.

Entry Requirements

This upgrade is suitable for learners who already hold an appropriate Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance qualification.

Entry and eligibility will be confirmed by the centre following a review of the learner’s existing qualification and experience.
